Startup20 Engagement Group gears up for third meeting in Goa

The much-anticipated third meeting of the Startup20 Engagement Group, which will take place in the beautiful setting of Goa in June 3-4, 2023, marks another milestone under India's G20 Presidency.

Startup20 is a wonderful opportunity to promote cooperation, share ideas, and influence the future of startups and entrepreneurship on a global scale while India holds the G20 presidency.

This event will bring together prominent members of the Indian startup ecosystem and distinguished foreign delegates, fostering cooperation and information exchange. It is inspired by the Sanskrit idea of "Sankalpana," which represents a collective commitment.

The meeting's main goal is to reach an agreement on the Draft Policy Communique, a document that Startup20 recently published and on which the public is encouraged to provide comments.

The schedule consists of a startup display, engaging speeches from the Startup20x series, engaging cultural encounters, and conversations about putting the ideas presented into practice and reaping their advantages. The significance of this event will be further enhanced by the presence of esteemed leaders from all levels of national and international government.

The Goa Sankalpana event will also include a variety of interesting events, such as taskforce presentations on the final policy communiqué, nation huddles in secret groups, and special meetings with Heads of Delegations behind closed doors. These sessions will serve as a forum for engaging in debate, promoting teamwork, and catalyzing initiatives that will influence the future of startups and entrepreneurship across G20 countries.

Moreover, a lavish gala dinner with colourful cultural performances will provide delegates a chance to network and unwind amongst Goa's alluring beauty.

As per the official press release from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Startup20 acknowledges the crucial role that startups play in promoting economic development and progress. It aspires to promote international collaboration, strengthen the global economy, and tackle major global problems.

Startup20 encourages discussion and cooperation on important themes, such as startups and entrepreneurship, through a variety of engagement projects.
